St. Mary’s College Mayenze has introduced a bursary programme offering up to 50 percent school fee reductions to outstanding, talented and vulnerable learners as the school continues to provide opportunities for students from different backgrounds.
Under the programme, learners facing financial challenges may qualify for significant fee support, while academically gifted students and those with exceptional talents can also be considered. The school says the initiative is intended to ensure that financial difficulties do not prevent deserving learners from accessing education.
Primary school leavers are also eligible for consideration under the programme. Students who obtain aggregates between 4 and 14 in the Primary Leaving Examinations can apply for the bursary when seeking admission to St. Mary’s College Mayenze.
The school has further introduced a two percent discount for parents who complete payment of school fees within the first two weeks of a new term. This is intended to encourage early fee payment while giving participating families an additional reduction.
Students who demonstrate strong academic performance will also be rewarded. Those who achieve seven or more distinctions can receive either UGX 50,000 in cash or partial sponsorship towards their school fees as an incentive for continued academic excellence.
St. Mary’s College Mayenze has also made special provisions for learners who have lost a parent. Students who have lost their fathers will receive a 50 percent fee reduction, while those who have lost their mothers will qualify for a 25 percent reduction.
The school continues to combine classroom learning with character formation and spiritual development. Learners take part in daily prayers, Holy Mass and Scripture Union activities, alongside academic and talent development programmes.
Parents and guardians seeking more information about admissions, bursaries and fee support at St. Mary’s College Mayenze can contact the school on 0782785625. The institution says the programme is aimed at giving more deserving learners an opportunity to continue their education in a supportive environment.
