Many Ugandans are complaining about the alleged hostile environment caused by the persistent arrests ordered by Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
I don’t think Gen. Muhoozi just wakes up and starts ordering the arrest of everyone, even those without any problem. Otherwise, if that was his intention, then all Ugandan prisons would be full to capacity.
As I said in my previous article some time back, where I clearly said General Muhoozi, like any other human being, may not sit down and watch the endless insults and abuses made against him by the same people he’s protecting.
Yes, he’s a human being who’s not immune to being abused and criticised, but at what level of abusive language should we use towards him and his family, and what’s the gravity of disappointment we have so that we can abuse him?
I’m concerned about the language used by the so-called human rights activist, Ms. Praises Aloikin, who’s said to be in police custody, against Gen. Muhoozi. Really, at your age—I don’t know how old she is—she doesn’t know the role that Gen. Muhoozi has played in this country.
The name is for the Itesots, but whoever is using her, and she also accepts to be used to abuse Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has messed her up.
As a strong supporter of Gen. Muhoozi, and an Itesot, Gen. Muhoozi’s contributions to this country and the Teso region are on record. He fought the LRA in Teso, and I believe by then Aloikin was not even born.
We should appreciate that ever since the NRA, under the command of General Museveni, ascended into power, Uganda has never experienced any single war, simply because of good leadership. Now, General Muhoozi, being the CDF, has also added more efforts in shaping the image of our army.
I’m requesting Ugandans to send our messages to General Muhoozi without necessarily putting insults in them.
My humble request to Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba is that no matter what insults you’re getting, please continue in cleaning the corrupt environment in Uganda.
