News of Jayden’s death was announced on Monday morning by fellow Ugandan TikToker Sheila Price, who shared the sad news with his followers and other people who had been following his health journey.

“The sad news we just got at this moment is that Jayden has passed on. It’s such bad news,” Sheila said while announcing his death.

Further details concerning the exact circumstances and place of Jayden’s death were not immediately available at the time the news was announced.

Jayden had spent much of the past year dealing with severe health complications after doctors discovered that his long-standing sickle cell condition had become more complicated.

He had reportedly lived with sickle cell disease for about 20 years, meaning that the condition had been part of his life for a significant period before his latest health crisis.

His health situation attracted widespread public attention in late 2025 when he appealed to Ugandans for financial assistance to help him access treatment, including a bone marrow transplant.

In December 2025, Jayden was rushed to TMR International Hospital in Naalya after developing severe chest pain and difficulties breathing.

Doctors reportedly found that he was suffering from acute chest syndrome and a vaso-occlusive crisis, both of which can occur as serious complications of sickle cell disease.

His condition was further complicated by dangerously low oxygen levels, making his medical situation particularly serious and requiring close monitoring and treatment.

Doctors also reportedly discovered that his bone marrow was struggling to produce enough blood cells. His treatment was therefore no longer only focused on managing sickle cell disease.

Jayden was subsequently diagnosed with aplastic anaemia, a serious condition in which the bone marrow does not produce enough new blood cells to meet the body’s needs.

Medical specialists reportedly recommended a bone marrow transplant as a major treatment option for his condition. The procedure, however, required significant financial resources.

The cost of treatment became a major challenge, prompting fellow content creators, friends and well-wishers to launch fundraising efforts to help Jayden access the recommended treatment.

The fundraising campaign attracted considerable attention on social media, with Ugandans contributing money and sharing his story in an effort to help him meet the medical expenses.

Jayden himself openly documented parts of his health journey and appealed for assistance, allowing many of his followers to follow his struggle and understand the seriousness of his condition.

After months of treatment and fundraising, there appeared to be a major breakthrough in July 2026 when Jayden underwent the long-awaited bone marrow procedure.

On July 8, media personality Gideon Nova Kwikiriza announced that Jayden had successfully come out of the operating theatre following the procedure and said he was considered out of danger at that time.

“This is to inform you all that our very own, our boy Jayden had a successful bone marrow surgery and is both out of theatre and danger,” Kwikiriza said at the time.

The announcement brought hope to Jayden’s family, friends and thousands of people who had followed his medical journey and contributed towards his treatment.

However, his reported death just over two months after the procedure has left many of his supporters mourning the loss of a young Ugandan who had become known through social media.

Jayden built a following on TikTok through humorous content, often sharing observations about everyday life in Uganda, social experiences and cultural differences, which helped him connect with a wide online audience.

His death has also renewed attention on the difficult health challenges faced by people living with sickle cell disease and other serious blood disorders, particularly when complications affect the production of blood cells.

As messages of condolence continue to circulate online, Jayden’s family, friends and fellow content creators are remembering him while further information about his death is awaited. His long health battle, the fundraising efforts and the support he received from Ugandans have made his story one that touched many people beyond his immediate social-media following.
