Kampala, 15th September 2026
Good day, Uganda.
Today, we speak with heavy hearts.
We are more than 40 members of the Silent Majority Media Team — the overwhelming majority of the team that walked every mile of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s campaign trail under the leadership of Mr. Moses Ssali Bebe Cool.
Many others (80) worked remotely from home.
For days, some of us have chosen to remain quiet. A few of us have come out on TikTok in solidarity with Bebe Cool.
But watching a few of our colleagues continue to take to TikTok to insult, abuse, threaten, blackmail and lie about a man who stood with us through difficult campaign days has deeply hurt us.
It hurts because we were there.
We shared the dust.
We shared the long journeys.
We shared the hunger, the exhaustion, the rain and the uncertainty.
We travelled as a team. We worked as a team. We laughed together. We struggled together.
And through it all, Bebe Cool stood with us.
That is
