Three Platinum awards, a Gold and a Silver marked Britania’s success at the 2026 East Africa Brand Quality Awards, with recognition spanning drinks, sauces and biscuits.
The honours were presented at the sixth edition of the awards on 16 October 2026 at Hotel Africana and Convention Center in Kampala, Uganda. For Britania Allied Industries Limited, the occasion brought five individual brand achievements together in a shared celebration.
YoJus, TopUp and SunSip received Platinum in the children’s natural fruit juice, tomato sauce and paste, and non-carbonated soft drinks categories, respectively. Splash earned Gold in the natural fruits beverages category, and Britania Biscuits received Silver in confectionery & biscuit products.
The results highlighted the breadth of Britania’s portfolio and the company’s ability to serve different tastes, occasions, and household needs.
A juice packed for lunchtime, a drink shared with friends, sauce added to a favourite meal or biscuits enjoyed during a break each creates a different consumer experience. Across those moments, the Britania name connects the products through a shared commitment to quality and consistency.
“Every brand in our portfolio carries a responsibility to the consumer and to the Britania name behind it. Receiving five awards is a proud moment, but our daily task remains the same: to make products people can rely on. That responsibility belongs to every part of our business,” said Ali Ebraik, CEO of Britania Allied Industries Limited.
Britania attributes the achievement to contributions across manufacturing, quality assurance, sales, marketing and distribution. From preparing products to making them available in shops, each team plays a part in the experience consumers have with the company’s brands.
The awards create an opportunity to make that connection more visible. Consumers who know an individual product can discover the wider family of brands that share the Britania name.
“Consumers may first know us through Splash, YoJus, TopUp, SunSip or our biscuits. We want every positive experience with those products to build their confidence in Britania. These awards celebrate the individual brands and help tell the larger story of the company behind them,” said Victor Akatwijuka, Marketing Manager at Britania Allied Industries Limited.
Following the recognition, Britania’s priorities remain focused on manufacturing standards, product innovation and consumer satisfaction. The commitment continues through the everyday work of producing, supplying and supporting the products consumers choose.
For Britania, the five honours mark a shared milestone. The lasting ambition is to keep earning trust across every brand carrying its name.
