Atwine said he turned to betting after facing significant financial difficulties following the recently concluded elections, which he said had left him bankrupt due to the high cost of running his campaign.

“The campaigns drained me to the core. I was considering selling some of my properties in an attempt to recover financially until one of my friends introduced me to the idea of betting,” Atwine narrated.

“I told him I did not know how to bet, but he assured me that this was not ordinary betting. He explained that it involved opportunities to win substantial amounts of money and that I did not necessarily need to know how to place the bets myself. He advised me to visit the Uganda Bettors Association website and contact them about their fixed games.”

Atwine said that after contacting the association, he was guided on how to make the required payment. The games were subsequently sent to him, but because he was unfamiliar with the betting process, he requested assistance.

“After making the payment, the games were sent to me, but I did not know how to place the bets. I therefore asked them to guide me through the process or stake on my behalf, which they accepted,” he said.

“After the games won, they contacted me and delivered the good news that my stake had won over Shs100 million. I could not believe it. I submitted my details, and the money was deposited into my account. I went to the bank and attempted to withdraw Shs5 million, and it worked. That was when I realized the money was actually there.”

Atwine described the win as a major financial milestone, saying it was the first time he had handled such a large amount of money.

“This is the first time in my life that I have handled such a significant amount of money. I want to thank Uganda Bettors Association for what I consider a major financial breakthrough,” he said.

He encouraged other people interested in betting to consider the platform, saying his experience had left him satisfied with the outcome.
