Opinion | Steven Ariong – I have seen and read several media bloggers castigating General Muhoozi, abusing him and even comparing him to drug addicts. I know that, after reading this opinion, many will also castigate me and call me different names, including accusing me of seeking recognition from General Muhoozi.
But that is not the case. General Muhoozi knows me very well.
I want to assure Ugandans who will read this opinion and dispute it that, whether you believe it or not, I strongly believe that our “Bad Man”, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), will be the next President of Uganda.
For me, with what I describe as clear goggles, I have already seen the “white smoke” coming from State House, Entebbe, signalling, in my view, that General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has already been approved to lead Uganda after President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
Whoever thinks there is a vacant job for the presidency should forget about it, because, in my view, that position is already occupied.
There is no doubt about this, at least from my perspective. The achievements of General Muhoozi Kainerugaba so far are clearly visible, and thousands of Ugandans have embraced his leadership and activities.
Those who disagree with me are free to do so. But as a journalist and observer of Uganda’s political landscape, I believe the political future of the country is already pointing in a particular direction.
Only time will tell whether my prediction will come true.
