In a statement released over the weekend, Rwotlonyo called on leaders to approach their responsibilities with a spirit of servant leadership and a clear sense of purpose.

“To serve the Nation is a great honor. To serve with humility and dignity is an even greater privilege. But to serve with vision, purpose, and a clear sense of direction is not only a divine calling, it is an expression of Godly faith,” he said.

The RDC, who represents the central government in Amolatar District, urged leaders to prioritise integrity and remain committed to the responsibilities entrusted to them.

“May we always lead with humility, serve with integrity, and remain guided by purpose, wisdom, and faith,” Rwotlonyo added.

His remarks come amid continued public discussions about accountability, service delivery and the conduct of public officers at both local and national levels.

By emphasising humility, integrity and purpose, Rwotlonyo encouraged leaders to view public office as a responsibility to serve citizens rather than simply a position of authority.

The RDC’s message also highlighted the role of values and personal responsibility in effective public service, urging leaders to remain guided by wisdom and faith in carrying out their duties.

Although the statement did not announce specific government programmes or policy measures, it presented a broader reflection on the responsibilities that come with leadership.

Rwotlonyo said leadership should be exercised with vision, purpose and a commitment to serving the public with dignity and integrity.
