The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has initiated the removal of floating vegetation at Pakwach Bridge in response to the rapid blooming of aquatic plants on December 20th. This proactive step aims to mitigate a substantial threat that could result in flooding and the subsequent closure of the bridge.
